Privacy Policy

How LearnDoKids collects, uses, and protects information for families and schools using our age-right learning activities.

Last updated: 1 October 2026

Our commitment

LearnDoKids provides age-right learning activities for children, managed primarily through parent or teacher accounts. We design the product so children can practice coloring, assembling, and sorting without building public social profiles. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle and why.

If you use LearnDoKids, you agree to this policy together with our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or submit personal information.

Who this policy covers

  • Parents and caregivers who create family accounts
  • Teachers and school staff exploring institutional use
  • Children who use the product under an adult-managed profile
  • Visitors who browse public pages such as About, Blog, or Schools

Information we collect

Account information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a password (stored as a secure hash, not as plain text). If email verification is enabled, we process verification tokens. If you use Google Sign-in when configured, we receive basic profile details allowed by that provider.

Child profiles

Adults may create child profiles with a display name, age group, and optional PIN. We use this to show age-fit activities and to keep progress separate per child. Please avoid entering sensitive identity documents into profile fields.

Activity and progress data

We store completed activities, stars earned, prize unlocks, and similar progress markers so the product can celebrate learning and show history. Download events for coloring images may be logged for security and product improvement.

Technical data

Like most websites, servers may record IP address, browser type, and basic request metadata for security, rate limiting, and diagnostics. We use this to reduce abuse (for example, repeated login attempts).

Messages you send us

Contact form submissions include the name, email, topic, and message you provide so we can respond.

Cookies and sessions

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and to support security features such as CSRF protection. These are necessary for the service to function and are not used to build advertising profiles of children.

How we use information

  • To operate accounts, child profiles, and activity progress
  • To provide downloads, stars, prizes, and related features
  • To send essential service emails (verification, password reset)
  • To respond to support and school package inquiries
  • To protect the service against fraud, spam, and abuse
  • To understand aggregate usage and improve age-right content

We do not sell children’s personal information. We do not use child profiles to target behavioral advertising.

Legal bases and children’s privacy

LearnDoKids is aimed at families and schools. Children use the product under adult guidance. We configure child-facing views to limit exposure to account settings and external links. Depending on your country, additional rules may apply (for example, parental consent expectations for younger children). Parents should supervise account creation and profile data.

If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate adult involvement, contact us and we will help review the account.

Sharing of information

We may share data only in limited cases:

  • Service providers who help us host, send email, or secure the site, under obligations to protect data
  • Legal requirements when the law obliges disclosure
  • School arrangements when an institution administers access for its students under its own policies
  • Business transfers if LearnDoKids is involved in a merger or acquisition, with continued protection commitments where required

Retention

We keep account and progress data while the account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward if needed for security, disputes, or legal obligations. You may request closure of a parent account; we will delete or anonymize personal data when appropriate and technically feasible, except where retention is required by law.

Security measures

We use password hashing, session protections, CSRF tokens, rate limiting on sensitive actions, security headers, and access controls for administrative tools. No online service can guarantee perfect security; please use a unique password and protect devices used by children.

International visitors

LearnDoKids may be hosted or supported from infrastructure in more than one country. If you access the service internationally, your information may be processed outside your home country under this policy and applicable law.

Your choices

  • Update account name or password from Settings when logged in
  • Edit or remove child profiles you manage
  • Request account deletion via the Contact page
  • Stop using the service and clear site cookies in your browser

Third-party links and ads

Public pages may link to external sites. Their privacy practices are their own. If advertising units are enabled by administrators, they should be placed with care away from child play screens; we aim to keep learning surfaces focused on activities.

Data minimization in product design

We try not to ask for information we do not need. Child profiles do not require school ID numbers, photos, or home addresses to use core activities. The less sensitive data we store, the smaller the risk surface for families.

Administrative access

Authorized administrators may access account lists, activity logs, and content tools to operate LearnDoKids, moderate abuse, and improve the service. Admin actions are limited to people with elevated roles. Public visitors cannot see other families’ progress.

Analytics philosophy

Aggregate counts (for example, how often an activity is completed) help us decide which themes to expand. We prefer product decisions based on anonymized or aggregated patterns rather than invasive tracking of individual children across the web.

Do not track requests

Where browsers send Do Not Track signals, industry practices vary. Our core session and security cookies remain necessary to run logged-in features. We do not interpret DNT as a request to disable essential authentication.

Regional rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise those rights. We may need to verify that you control the account before completing a request.

School-managed deployments

When a school organizes access, the school may act as a primary contact for student-related questions under its policies. Parents should also review any school technology agreement. LearnDoKids still applies this Privacy Policy to data we process as the service operator.

Breach response

If we become aware of a security incident that affects personal data, we will take steps to investigate, contain the issue, and notify affected users or authorities when legally required. Prompt password changes may be recommended in those rare events.

Children’s drawings and downloads

Colored results created on the platform may be downloaded by the controlling adult account. Those files live on the user’s device once downloaded; device security then becomes the family’s responsibility. Free-plan watermarks help signal origin when images are shared informally.

Transparency summary

In plain language: adults create accounts; children get profiles; we store progress so the product can work; we protect sessions; we do not sell children’s data for ads. Policy pages can feel long because law and clarity both matter — this summary is the heart of our approach to privacy on a learning site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as LearnDoKids grows. We will revise the “Last updated” date and, when changes are material, provide additional notice where appropriate.
